About JAK Wraps
Our Story
At JAK Wraps, we are passionate about the game of Pickleball pand protecting the paddle edge. We believe that everyone should have access to high -quality edge tape, and that's why we started our Christian, family owned business. The JAK Team strives to provide affordable and durable protection for paddle edges. Did we mention it looks cool, too?!?
This company was born when when owner Mike Rogers played with a brand new paddle and it broke on the second use. The edge of the broken paddle was protected with electrical tape but it didn't protect from a common dig out scuff. When the paddle company did not honor the warranty, the first JAK Wrap was made.
JAK stands for Jax, Addie and Kate, the owner's adult children. The name of JAK was the idea of Mike Rogers' wife Rebecca, mom of the JAK kids. The original logo was created by Jax who designs JAK Wraps and is an avid Pickleball player and student at the University of Kentucky. Addie and Kate have both given design input that they think will interest players and several of their concepts are being considered for GEN 2 (being released Summer of 2024). The twins actually presented the idea of the first signature wrap of professional pickleball Player, Mari Humberg. Kate is in medical school at the University of Kentucky and Addie attends law school at the University of Louisville.

The JAK team works with individual customers to design and change our product every quarter.
